- What is free, and what does StatStudio add?
- Opening and exploring data and output is free forever — SAS/XPT/Excel/JMP/CSV files, tables, sorting, WHERE/IF filtering, format rendering, the Define-XML viewer, charts, frequency & univariate, and the compare tools. StatStudio adds writing and running SAS/R programs (through SAS Enterprise Guide or SAS Studio), the Emacs/Elisp editing environment, and the R console.
- Is StatStudio a subscription?
- No. It's a one-time $99 purchase with no renewal. After payment you receive a license file by email and import it in the app to unlock StatStudio permanently, free updates included.
- How do I request a refund?
- We offer a 30-day no-questions-asked refund on the StatStudio upgrade. Email support@statdataviewer.com within 30 days of purchase. Requests are processed within 1–2 business days.
- Can I use StatDataViewer for commercial work?
- Yes. Both the free viewer and StatStudio may be used for personal and business work, including clinical trial data review, regulatory submissions, and internal statistical work. See the Terms for full details.
